The main responsibilities of the Assessor will be to:
Take responsibility of learner portfolios within their areas to ensure the completion of the NVQs are to an excellent standard and within given time scales.
To provide guidance in terms of their speciality for learners allocated.
To work to NWSA standards and expectations as well as the relevant regulations around the trades’ regulatory bodies and examination boards.
Assessors will be paid on completion of portfolios at a rate of £500.00
The successful Assessors will:
Hold an Assessing qualification eg A1 Assessing
Have experience in their specialist trade
Hold a valid CSCS card
Drive and have access to a vehicle as you will be travelling to various locations.
Hold the relevant NVQ or City and Guilds qualifications
Have strong numeracy, literacy, IT and communication skills
